We offer a complete selection of T8 and T12 LED tube lights that bypass traditional fluorescent ballasts. They offer the advantage of reduced maintenance costs associated with replacing ballasts since the ballast is no longer part of the lighting system. They also have an added advantage of being lower cost than ballast compatible LED fluorescent replacement tubes.
Ballast rewiring, although easy, is best performed by a trained electrician whenever possible. Ballast bypass tubes work with non-shunted rapid start lamp holders which are the lamp holder used in T12 applications. Thus if you have a T12 fluorescent fixture, you will not have to replace the lamp holders. Users who have T8 fluorescent fixtures will have to purchase non-shunted rapid start lamp holders which we offer in this collection as well or at this link.
